SEED PODS: A Good Soil Community
Supporting Parents and Caregivers to Nurture Faith in Jesus
We’re launching something new for parents and caregivers and we’re really excited about it!
We’ve always made stuff: music, art and Little Liturgies. Almost two years ago we began planning for our first cohort/community for church leaders. The goal was to provide a place for mutual support, sharing of ideas (cross-pollination) and learning as they nurtured faith in their church community. We’ve finished our first cohort and launched the second, and it has been so beautiful—things that only God could do within those groups of church leaders.
Now we get to launch a new community specifically for parents and caregivers.
The goal is the same: create a supportive community for parents and caregivers to be a part of as you nurture faith in the children in your life (your children of any age, nieces and nephews, grandchildren—any children entrusted in your care). We’re calling it Seed Pods.
What will the Seed Pod group do and how often?
Monthly:
meet to check-in, share, encourage and listen to each other.
use the resources created by The Soil and The Seed Project (Little Liturgies/music).
create opportunities for cross-pollinating of ideas: what’s working, what’s hard, what do you need?
bring in resource people (4 times/year) to provide input to help equip us in practical, manageable ways as we are nurturing faith.
Annually:
Summer Gathering (Fri-Sat) for you and your family, possibly overlapping with the June Ordinary Time Summer Concert Series
Breakaway time to connect within the Rooted: Soil+Seed Fest weekend

The Soil and The Seed Project creates music, art and Little Liturgies to nurture faith in Jesus Christ in all of the ordinary moments of life. Along with the resources, the project also gathers people together in a variety of ways to provide supportive communities as together we turn towards Jesus and believe the Good News of God’s love for the whole world.
