The Soil and The Seed Project

Ambassadors

I love this project, but how do I help?

BONUS PERK! Ambassadors get a new T-shirt whenever they are printed!

SHOW AND SHARE

Give people beautiful, FREE stuff: CDs, booklets, stickers, and other swag. Spread the word about what’s going on with the project. And be on the lookout for people who might need these resources but don’t know they exist!

  • With each new release, receive more copies than you have; be ready to find homes for them with people who need them! When you’ve given them all away, ask for more. Keep a little stash of the available resources so you can keep giving them away.

  • Get stickers, wristbands, buttons, etc. mailed to you when the CDs and booklets are shipped. Then get them in the hands of people who are excited about them!

LISTEN!

Listen for stories of the ways God is using this project, and share those stories with us. Connect the people who use and value the project with the surveys that help demonstrate the value of this work.

  • As people are talking about where and how they are using the project and what impact it is having, ask them if you can share the stories with us. Even better, ask if you can record a voice memo or a video of them sharing their stories in their own words.

  • Encourage people in your community to fill out surveys when they are distributed as a means of being an active participant, helping to shape the work through feedback.

CONNECT!

As you meet people who are interested in supporting this work in any way (musically, artistically, financially, etc.), connect them to the project team so they can get plugged in and make a difference. This work takes a whole village, and as an ambassador, you get the super fun job of helping to invite people into the community that makes it all possible.

  • Get contact info, and send a note to Seth, Greg, or hello@thesoilandtheseedproject.org saying “Hey, [insert name] is interested in [whatever they are interested in].”

  • Make sure people who are interested in plugging in and contributing in any way get hooked up with swag (stickers, wristbands, whatever you have available).

FAQs

Why does The Soil and The Seed Project need ambassadors?

We really believe in making the best possible resources we can make. We pour a lot of time and care and attention into making the things, and we share them as widely as we are able. AND we know that there are so many more people who don’t know about these incredible FREE resources. We need help spreading the word. We have finite resources, especially when it comes to time and ability to travel to all the places where we’d like to travel. Ambassadors help to extend the reach of The Soil and The Seed Project, allowing this good work to be shared freely with as many people as possible—not because we want to see growth for growth’s sake, but because the project has been so beautiful and helpful in our own lives, and so good at pointing us toward the Good News, that we just can’t help but want to share it.
